This notice is given under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection
Law no. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to
be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. For fuller explanations
and for your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
see the Privacy Policy page.

The TexHoliday brand is operated by TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WORLD TOURISM AGENCY, a travel agency registered with
TÜRSAB, which is the data controller for the purposes of this notice.
2. Personal data processed and how it is collected
Your personal data is collected automatically while you
browse the site and partly automatically, by electronic
means, through the forms you complete:
- Transaction security data: IP address, browser and device
information, operating system, pages viewed, time of visit, referring address,
server and cookie records. - Identity and contact data: full name, e-mail address and
phone number, if you complete the partnership form. - Professional and promotional data: your Instagram,
TikTok and YouTube accounts, your website, total follower count, where your
audience is based, and your message. - Request and complaint data: the content of messages you
send us by e-mail or phone.
No special category data is processed.
Booking and payment take place on the booking engine at
booking.texholiday.com, not on this website. Card details
are never entered on, or processed by, this website.
3. Purposes of processing
- Operating the website, keeping it secure and preventing abuse,
- Remembering your language and currency preference,
- Measuring site usage statistically, subject to your explicit consent,
- Assessing partnership applications and replying to applicants,
- Handling requests and complaints,
- Meeting legal obligations and answering requests from competent
authorities, - Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims in a dispute.

5. Recipients and purpose of transfer (Art. 8)

Your personal data is not sold or rented to third parties for marketing.
6. Transfers abroad (Art. 9)
Some of the providers above run servers outside Türkiye, so such transfers
are assessed under Article 9 of the KVKK. Transfers rely on the safeguards in Article 9 of the KVKK (adequacy decision, standard contract, undertaking or Board authorisation). For transfers
outside the European Economic Area, the European Commission’s Standard
Contractual Clauses may also apply.
7. Retention and destruction
Your data is kept for as long as the purpose requires and for the
limitation periods set by law, after which it is deleted, destroyed or
anonymised. Retention for partnership applications: 6 months. A detailed
retention table is on the Privacy Policy page.
8. Rights of the data subject (Art. 11)
- Learn whether your personal data is processed,
- Request information if it has been processed,
- Learn the purpose and whether the data is used accordingly,
- Know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad,
- Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
- Request erasure or destruction under Article 7,
- Request that correction, erasure or destruction be notified to the third
parties the data was transferred to, - Object to an adverse outcome produced solely by automated analysis,
- Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
9. How to apply
Send your request, together with information verifying your identity, by
one of the following:

- From the e-mail address registered in our system: ota@texgroup.com.tr
Your application should state your name and surname, your signature (for
written applications), your Turkish ID number (for foreign nationals,
nationality and passport number), an address for notification, any e-mail and
phone number for notice, and the subject of your request.
Applications are answered as soon as possible and within
thirty days at the latest, free of charge. Where the process
incurs a cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board’s tariff may
be charged.
10. Complaint to the Board
If your application is refused, the answer is inadequate, or no answer is
given in time, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data
Protection Board within thirty days of learning the answer and in any
event within sixty days of the application (KVKK Art. 14).
11. Updates
This notice may be updated. The current version is always published on this
page, with the effective date and version number at the top updated.
